Manchester united players protest after a penalty is given against Lisandro Martinez
Manchester United wyere defeated 1-0 by Real Sociedad in their Europa League match on Thursday evening due to a controversial penalty decision.
The game went ahead despite the death of Queen Elizabeth II earlier in the day.
A lovely tribute took place before the match as everyone inside the stadium paid tribute to Her Majesty, The Queen.
It was Real Sociedad who won 1-0 courtesy of a controversial second-half penalty.
A shot on goal rebounded off Lisandro Martinez’s leg and hit his arm.
The referee pointed to the spot and awarded the away side a penalty. Martinez was even given a yellow card.
